The Water Proofing Removal Challenges

Our team members performed Concrete Grinding Services at 18 Karimbla Rd, Miranda for one of our clients CJ Duncan. This project involved waterproofing removal on the floor of two balconies of an apartment block.
We started off by establishing the best and most efficient method of completing this project. After a quick inspection of the area, we decided to do that with the handheld grinders. Because there was space limitation on the balcony to maneuver our bigger grinders.
Once our team member established the best method he unloaded the van and set up the dust extractor and power for the area.
As there was a limitation in space and access, we used our Metabo W24-230 MVT 7″ Angle Surface Grinder with Dust Control Shroud. The dust shroud paired with our Tyrolit Dust Extractor VCE 4000D means that there is zero dust created from the Grinding Process. This means you can keep the site perfectly clean.
Once our team member established the best method, he unloaded the van and set up the dust extractor and power for the area. Ensuring he was using full PPE he began to grind the balcony floor.
He completed the first balcony in a couple of hours. He then moved all equipment to the second balcony and setup. We completed the project in 8 Hours. So, our client was delighted with the completed work.
The Result:
Waterproofing removal was successfully completed on both balconies the client requested and the area was left dust-free. Thanks to our Dust Extractor and Dust Control Shroud system.
