Perfect Concrete Care has successfully completed an extensive Grind and Seal job for Infinity Constructions’ office in Mascot. Our dedicated team worked relentlessly to deliver flawless polished concrete flooring throughout the 4 levels of the office, totalling 3500 square metres, within 8 weeks.

The key challenges included the short timeframe, changes in scope of work and working around other traders. The Perfect Concrete Care team confidently addressed these challenges by efficiently planning and working around the clock and, being flexible towards the client’s needs. Our crew worked closely with the client to understand the changes and how to act on them.

Perfect Concrete Care team started off by grinding the floor to expose the aggregate. The first step in the concrete polishing process was to grind the existing floor to expose the underlying aggregate. This process required expertise and precision to achieve the desired level of aggregate exposure, as it directly impacts the final appearance of the polished surface. By uncovering the aggregate, a unique and textured appearance was achieved, enhancing the overall visual appeal.

Then they moved on to smoothing the surface. Once the aggregate was exposed, the surface underwent a meticulous smoothing process. This involved the use of advanced tools and techniques to eliminate imperfections, creating a seamless and level surface. The smoothness not only contributes to the elegance of the polished floor but also ensures a safer and more comfortable walking surface.

Finally, the process was completed by applying two coats of high-quality sealer to enhance the durability as well as protect the polished concrete floor. Moreover, the sealer enhances the reflective properties of the floor, adding a subtle sheen that elevates the overall aesthetic appeal of the space.
