Our team members recently completed Wire Sawing works for our client Infinity Projects in Pyrmont.
These works involved the Wire Sawing of 800mm thick slab to allow penetrations and demolition.

Techniques Used:
Our team members began by firstly drilling core holes into the slab to allow for the wire to run down each side. We used our Tyrolit Core Drill with barrel extenders to allow us to core down this deep.
Once the cores were complete our team members then mounted the Wire Saw into place and ran the diamond wire through the cores and around the slab before crimping the wire securing it into the Wire Saw frame.
Before beginning the cutting, our team members connected the water source to keep the diamond wire cool and installed the safety guard on the Wire Saw. Then our experienced operator began the cutting.
The Result: The client was very happy with the professionalism of our team members and how fast we carried out the works.
