Yes. We grind concrete floors in Brisbane. Commercial and industrial slabs, shrouded grinders with dust extraction, and a floor handed back flat and ready for what goes on next.
If you have a warehouse, factory, car park, retail tenancy or plant room floor in Brisbane that needs the old coating off, the glue gone, the high spots taken down or the surface opened up for a new covering, Perfect Concrete Care does that work. Tell us the area, what is on the slab now and what is replacing it, and we will give you the method, the programme and the price.
Brisbane enquiries: call 07 2145 6581 or use the form at the bottom of this page. Carlos and the Queensland team run the job from our Slacks Creek base.

What we grind in Brisbane
Coating removal. Epoxy, polyurethane, paint and old sealers come off with metal bond diamonds, then the slab is profiled for the new system. Where the coating is a membrane rather than a floor finish, see our coating and membrane removal page.
Glue and adhesive removal. Carpet glue, vinyl adhesive and tile bed residue after a strip out, ground back to clean concrete so the flooring contractor can start.
Levelling and trip hazards. Curled slab edges, lipped joints, raised sections and uneven pours in car parks, loading docks, walkways and warehouse aisles. We grind the high side down so the floor meets the tolerance the next trade needs.
Surface preparation. Opening up a burnished or sealed slab to the profile an epoxy, polyurethane cement, vinyl or tile system needs to bond. Our surface preparation page covers the CSP profiles and what each covering wants.
Commercial grind and seal. Warehouses, workshops, car parks and back of house areas where the slab itself is the finished floor and needs to be dust free, sealed and easy to clean. This is a working floor finish, not a decorative polished concrete job.
Where this work happens in Brisbane
The Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley, South Brisbane, the Australia TradeCoast and airport precinct, Eagle Farm, Acacia Ridge, Archerfield, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands and Moreton Bay. We work in live buildings, after hours and in staged areas so a tenancy or a warehouse can keep trading around us.
How we grind
Big open floors get a planetary grinder, and on the largest slabs a remote controlled machine so the operator stays out of the dust and the work keeps moving. Edges, columns, plant bases and stair landings get hand grinders under a shroud. Every machine runs to an industrial dust extractor and the fines are bagged and removed. Diamond tooling is matched to the concrete hardness and what has to come off, which is what stops a slab being over-ground or a coating being smeared instead of removed.

You get a SWMS before we start, a supervisor on site, and a floor left clean and vacuumed rather than swept. If the slab needs patching, crack repair or levelling compound before the next trade, we do that as part of the same job so there is no gap between contractors.
Before you ask for a price
Three things move the number. What is on the slab, because a thin sealer and a 3 millimetre epoxy are different jobs. How hard the concrete is, which decides the tooling and the speed. And what access and hours you can give us, because a clear floor on a Saturday is faster than working around racking during trade. If you know all three, we can price it from your description and a few photos. If you do not, we will come and look.
What we do not do
We do not grind residential garages, driveways, patios or kitchens, and we do not do decorative polished concrete for homes. If you are a builder, a flooring contractor, a facilities or strata manager or a head contractor with a commercial slab that needs grinding, levelling or preparing, you are in the right place.
Common questions
Do you grind residential garage floors or driveways in Brisbane?
No. We work for builders, flooring contractors, facilities managers, strata and body corporate managers and head contractors on commercial and industrial slabs. A garage or a house driveway is better served by a local handyman or a small hire-shop grinder.
How flat can you get a floor?
Grinding takes off high spots, joints and curled slab edges. It does not add material, so a floor that is low in places needs a levelling compound after we grind. We tell you which it is when we look at the slab, and we can do the levelling as part of the same job.
What about the dust?
Every grinder runs under a shroud connected to an industrial dust extractor, and we bag the fines on site. On live buildings we also seal off the work zone. Silica dust is controlled at the source, not swept up later.
How quickly can you start in Brisbane?
