Our Mission
Concrete work looks routine until it is not. Cutting and grinding generate respirable crystalline silica, saws and core rigs carry serious cutting hazards, water and electricity share the same work area, and a cut in the wrong place can hit a post tension cable or a live service.
Our mission is that every one of our operators finishes the day the same way they started it.
How we hold that standard
Every cut is planned before it is made. Scan first where there is any doubt about what is in the slab, isolate services, set the water and dust controls, and confirm what is on the other side of the wall or the floor.
Silica is the one this trade has historically got wrong. On tool extraction, water suppression, the right respiratory protection and health monitoring are not optional on our jobs, because the damage from silica shows up twenty years after the job is finished.
Any of our operators can stop a cut. If the scan does not make sense, if the drawing does not match the slab, or if the access is not right, the answer is to stop and ring the supervisor. Nobody here gets criticised for that call.
