Concrete Care is the newest of the Perfect Group divisions to grow past Sydney, and the things we want to do better are practical ones.
Here is what we are working on, in New South Wales and Queensland.
Cleaner jobs, measured
We separate and recycle now, but we want every job to close with a record of what went where. The goal is a per-job waste summary a client can drop straight into their own sustainability reporting.
Battery and electric cutting and coring gear has caught up with the work in the last few years. We are moving the inside-building fleet that way first, where the gain in air quality and noise for the people around us is greatest.
Train our own operators
Good saw and core operators are hard to find. We take on labourers and train them up to operators inside Concrete Care, and we want that pathway to be the normal way people join us, not the exception.
One standard in both states, and earlier involvement
Sydney and Brisbane crews should work the same way on dust, slurry, PPE and handover. As the Queensland team grows, the systems and training move with it.
The biggest environmental and safety gains on a concrete job come from being in the room when the method is decided, not when the crew turns up. We are building the engineering side of the business so we can offer that to builders and asset owners as a matter of course.
Say it plainly
We will report what we have done, not what we intend to do, and we will keep this page honest about the gap between the two.
