Overview
Perfect Concrete Care was engaged to complete a full-surface preparation project at the Sleeping Giant store in Prospect, ahead of a retail flooring upgrade. The scope required efficient removal of both commercial-grade carpet and adhesive glue from a high-traffic 800m² slab, ensuring a clean, level surface for new flooring to be installed.
Challenges
- Working within a tight timeline — the job had to be completed by Friday, just days after project commencement.
- Coordinating work across a large uninterrupted retail space without disrupting adjacent operations or causing delays to downstream trades.
Execution
Our crew deployed high-performance stripping and grinding equipment to remove the existing carpet and underlying glue efficiently. Each stage of the process was planned for maximum productivity with zero compromise on surface quality.
