A concrete floor is an asset with a service schedule
Polished and sealed floors do not fail overnight. They dull, the traffic lanes wear first, joints start breaking down under forklifts, and one day the floor that used to impress customers looks tired. Every one of those stages is cheaper to fix than the one after it.
That is why the smart money is on a maintenance program rather than a rescue. A reseal or re-burnish on schedule costs a fraction of a full regrind, and joint repairs done early stop the spalling that eventually forces slab replacement.
Polished concrete
New polished floors from bare or covered slabs, and restoration of existing polish that has dulled or worn through in the lanes. Exposure level, gloss and slip rating agreed up front, with a sample panel on your slab before the full floor.
Maintenance and reseal programs
Scheduled reseal, densifier top up and burnishing tuned to your traffic. Retail floors on night cycles, warehouses bay by bay so racking and picking keep operating.
- Topical reseal and burnish cycles
- Densifier reapplication on polished floors
- Traffic lane restoration before full wear through
- Joint, arris and slab edge repair
- Line marking refresh in the same visit
Coating renewal
Epoxy and polyurethane floors that are delaminating or worn get stripped, prepared and recoated with a system matched to the exposure: food production, chemicals, hot wash down or plain heavy traffic. Cure windows are planned around your operation because a coating that gets trafficked early fails early.
Comparing quotes? Ask what preparation is included and what the coverage rates are. A cheap reseal over a dirty or unprofiled floor peels, and you pay twice.
Where we work
Crews based in Sydney and Brisbane, and we travel nationally for planned programs: shopping centres, distribution centres, plants and infrastructure. Tell us where the floor or the structure is and we will be straight about mobilisation.
Questions we get asked
How often should a polished floor be resealed or burnished?
Depends on traffic. A busy retail floor might want attention every 6 to 12 months, a light office floor every few years. We will put real dates against your floor after seeing it.
Can you work while we trade?
Yes. Night and weekend cycles, staged areas and low odour products where the public are around.
Our floor is patchy, half worn, half fine. Full regrind?
Often no. Traffic lanes can be restored and blended into the rest, which costs far less than doing the entire floor.
Do you fix joints at the same time?
Yes, and you should. Joint breakdown is the thing that turns a cosmetic problem into a structural one under forklifts.
Do you travel for a single floor?
For a decent sized program, yes. For a small one off a long way from Sydney or Brisbane we will say so honestly.
Floor looking tired?
Send a couple of photos and the rough area. We will tell you whether it needs maintenance or a rebuild, and price both.
