PERFECT CONCRETE CARE™ has commenced Concrete Grinding works for our client Loop Projects at Alexandria in Sydney. These works involve concrete grinding to remove carpet glue from a 400m² concrete slab.

Techniques Used:

Our team members have only recently begun the Concrete Grinding works. For this project, we are using our largest floor grinders the HTC 650E Classic and the HTC 420VS to complete the bulk of the works. Once done, we will be using our smaller Tyrolit Edge Grinder, to finalise the detailing along the walls.We had an initial meeting with our client’s representative on site, so we could grasp the full scope of works to be carried out. Once we had a clear understanding of the project, our team members established the required equipment and assembled on site.Our client requested dust control for this project, so our team member’s setup our Tyrolit VCE4000 and Tyrolit VCE2000D Dust Extractors, which connected directly to our floor grinders and assisted with dust control.Next, our team members unloaded the large floor grinders onto the site and installed fresh diamond cup wheels. It is good practice to always start a large project such as this with a fresh set of diamond cup wheels; this will provide smooth, even results – the ideal results.Once the floor grinders and dust extractors were all set up and ready to go, our team members began grinding the first pass. While one team member was using our large HTC 650E Classic to do the large 200m², our other team members were using our smaller HTC 420VS to complete the grinding on the edge of the office block.The Result: Our client has been very happy with the efficiency of our team members so far and delighted with the quality of works carried out.
