Perfect Concrete Care was engaged by Perfect Contracting to carry out complex concrete cutting services for Acciona at The Bays site in Rozelle, as part of a broader infrastructure package in a high-pressure, high-profile environment.
Despite tight scheduling, reinforced structural demands, and a highly active metropolitan site footprint, our team completed the job in just one month – on time and to spec.
Scope of Works
This project demanded deep and precise concrete cutting across multiple verticals:
- Deep Road Sawing to depths of up to 380 mm in dense concrete slabs
- Wall Saw Cutting using wall rails to achieve depths of up to 520 mm
- Core Drilling of holes up to 1.5 metres deep, through heavily reinforced concrete
All works were executed in a live urban environment with constant logistical pressure due to the site’s critical access location and its integration with parallel works being managed by Perfect Contracting.

- High Reinforcement Density: Our operators utilised specialised diamond blades and high-powered road saws capable of cutting through large volumes of steel within reinforced slabs.
- Metropolitan Constraints: Located in the heart of Rozelle, the site required strict compliance with noise, dust, and traffic control protocols. Our crews operated during designated windows to minimise disruption.
- Time-Sensitive Delivery: Acciona’s tight milestone targets created pressure across all trades. Our cutting and drilling team worked in shifts to meet the deadline without compromise on safety or accuracy.
Outcome
Within 30 days, all cutting and drilling activities were completed safely and with precision. Our ability to respond to design changes, work under pressure, and coordinate closely with Perfect Contracting ensured a smooth handover to the next stage of construction.
