Perfect Concrete Care were contracted to complete a grind and polish rectification of slab for a new anytime fitness refurbishment in Edmondson Park.
Firstly we had to remove all the existing glue off the slab to prepare for the aggregate exposure. Using our Tyrolit Duratiq set up with dust extraction unit, with various levels of diamond shoes we proceeded with various passes over the slab to expose the aggregate within the slab.
After the exposure of aggregate within the concrete slab, denser was applied to the slab to harden the concrete. Following by various passes with resin pads to achieve a 200 grit concrete polish finish.
Final step was applying a concrete sealer over the slab and burnishing with polishing pads.
