PERFECT CONCRETE CARE™ has recently started work for our client Inbuild Developments at Blacktown, Sydney. The scope of work involved over 800m2 of concrete grinding and sealing to the concrete floor of an industrial unit.
TECHNIQUES USED
For this large project, our team members used our large HTC 630 E Classic, HTC 420VS, and HTC 270 EG floor grinders. Our client also requested dust control. The rest of the industrial unit was to remain operational throughout the duration of the project.
Our team members began by meeting with our client on-site and gaining a more accurate understanding of the client’s needs. Once our team members understood the requirements of the client, they began by establishing all the equipment on the site to begin setup.
Firstly, they began by setting up our Tyrolit VCE4000 and VC2000D dust extractors. It was to ensure that the dust created during the grinding process was kept under control. Next, they set up our three-phase Makinex petrol generator, as there was insufficient energy on-site to power all our grinders and dust extractors.
Once our dust extractors and generators were set up and ready, our team members then installed all new diamond shoes on both of our large HTC floor grinders. It is always good practice to install new diamond shoes when starting a new project. It allows for a more consistent finish.
Lastly, once the grinding was complete and the client was happy with the finish of the grinding. We then applied Viroseal sealer over the surface to protect and provide a sealed finish to the slab.
THE RESULT
Our client was extremely happy with the finish of the concrete slab. The client was also happy with the professionalism of our team members throughout the project.
