Project Overview
Perfect Concrete Care was engaged by Masscon to carry out two overcut-free precision wall penetrations at their site in Hurstville, NSW. The key requirement for this project was that the openings be completed without any overcuts, ensuring clean edges and preserving the integrity of the surrounding structure.
Methodology
To achieve the required precision, our team implemented a proven, controlled cutting process:
- Core-drilling each corner of the required openings to create perfectly defined edges
- Using high-frequency (HF) hand saws to make straight cuts between the core holes
- Removing each wall section safely and efficiently using a block and tackle rigging system
This method eliminated the need for overcutting and provided an exact fit for the intended modifications.
